Revelation 2:9 (AMP)

“I know your suffering and your poverty (but you are rich)”

Devotion

I know the pain you’re feeling

The hollowness inside

The shell that you push forward

The anger that you hide

I know just how you’re lacking

The ways that you fall short

And how you view each failure

A roadblock to your growth

I know when you feel hopeless

When life comes to a halt

Standing seems impossible

You can’t take one more step

But somehow you push through this

Somehow you survive

Somehow you thrive

Somehow you’re still here

And I know why

Because despite your despair

And everything you’ve been through

There’s just as many wonders

That compel you to stay

The rush of joy from a good show

The laughter shared with friends

The accomplishment of learning

You have joy

You can find happiness

If you are willing to look for it

You will find just how rich you are

Just how much you already have

Just how much

I love you
