2 Peter 3:5 (ESV)

“For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God.”

Devotion

There’s a common saying that we often do not realize the gifts we have until they are taken away from us. A lot of us have had opportunities and gifts taken away from us because of the pandemic. This has proven to give us a better understanding of the value of social interactions, our jobs, and our everyday lives. Especially during the pandemic, it is easy to forget that God has blessed us by creating us in his image, and by giving us the opportunity to live in a world that They also created. Let this reminder be a kindle of hope for the life that we are given, and for always remembering the blessings that are given to us by God, who loves us beyond our cognition.

Prayer

Good and gracious God, help us to find hope in this weary season. Amen.
